This summer, I am treading the boards once again as Sister Berthe in the A.D. Players' production of The Sound of Music. This will be my return to musical theatre since before the pandemic (we were originally supposed to do the show the summer of 2020 - and we all know how that went!)
I was recently in Main Street Theater's production of Dog Act by Liz Duffy Adams. This show has been incredible in so many ways - challenging language-wise, worshipful being onstage again, healing working with an ensemble towards a common dream.
I was blessed to be in the A.D. Players' Radio Mystery Theatre shows, Hercules Poirot and Sherlock Holmes. You can listen to them for any size donation. Come support #localtheatre!
I also was able to be in a ZOOM-style shoot for Christian L. Scott's script, A Teacher's New Normal, by Faith Productions.
Because of COVID-19, my 2020 stint as Sister Berthe in The Sound of Music was not meant to be. Instead, I have been taping monologues, scenes, and songs for different Casting Director challenges and taping some songs for Main Street Theater's #MST@Home and A.D. Players' cabaret series.
